THE 5th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME - 4th February 2024
My Dear Friends,
So much of our Lord’s work revolved around healing. It is, therefore, salutary to remind ourselves that when we feel weak or dispirited, it is Jesus who can raise us up, bind up our wounds and set us, once more, on our feet.

FORTHCOMING EVENTS
ASH WEDNESDAY AND THE BEGINNING OF LENT. Our keeping of the Holy Season of Lent begins on the 14th February with the reception of Ashes that remind us that we are God’s creation. He fashioned us out of clay and while acknowledging this through the ash, we also share the hope that, freed from the corruption of sin and death, we may share too in the glory of our Lord’s Resurrection and eternal life.
There will be a Mass with the imposition of Ashes at 12.15 pm and a Sung Mass at 6.30 pm on the day. As disciples of Christ please join us for this marking of our Lenten journey towards Easter.
THE HEALTHY CHURCH INITIATIVE. Thank you for taking part in this process which will help us to reflect on our Parish life and identify areas where we can improve our ongoing witness and mission outreach. We are hoping to receive the data results of our survey soon so that we may begin to target our Parish Mission response accordingly.
THE ADULT BAPTISM AND CONFIRMATION CLASS continues. The classes take place after the Parish Mass at the Vicarage.
